I've been writing software professionally for over 14 years, starting as a web developer in Manila and working my way through startups, fintech, and now a FAANG-scale cloud service. At AWS I work on the control plane of Redshift — leading projects across fleet-wide infrastructure migrations, security hardening, and performance optimization. I'm self-taught and I like hard problems.

Before AWS, I was an Engineering Manager at PayMaya (now Maya) working on core banking systems, and before that a Senior Engineer at Freelancer.com where I also served as Interim Director of Engineering for 6 months.
